Project Goal: The project aims to improve civil society organizations’ sustainability, ability to advocate for improvements in
their enabling environments, and support community-based crime and violence prevention initiatives.

Project Objectives:
RISE Life Management Services (RISE) has set forth the following specific objectives within the submitted project:
-Build the institutional strength of RISE to advocate for and offer services to its constituents.
-Increase the capacity of targeted CSOs to access resources and improve the delivery of services towards citizen
security efforts.
-Develop a network structure that facilitates effective collaboration among CSOs, Government and the Private
Sector.

MAIN ACTIVITIES
Component 1: RISE Institutional Strengthening
RISE acknowledges the importance of increasing its own capacity to become an effective lSO. Following the administering
of the Organizational Capacity Assessment (OCA) and the development of the Capacity Development Action Plan, RISE will engage in several activities for institutional strengthening.

Component 2: Facilitating increased capacity among local CSOs
Activity 2.1 Capacity Building Seminars. RISE will conduct five one-day capacity building seminars addressing the key
capacity building issues among 40 local CSOs.
