Childline Jamaica is a telephone counselling services offered to children up to the age of 18 years old. Childline looks to provide a service for children where they have a listening ear, in a non-judgmental and supportive atmosphere. In addition, trained counsellors assist the caller through their time in crisis, in a confidential and safe manner.

This service is funded by the Ellen Pearl Outreach Children’s Charity (EPOCC), a UK based charity with a mission to outreach to the children of Jamaica.
EPOCC offers free training in Volunteer Telephone counselors and are currently recruiting persons interested in being a volunteer counselor for the Childline. There is also a stipend for the volunteers based on the type of work that they agree too. The first batch of recruitment will run until the end of July 2019.
