Human Rights Awareness and Education Programme

The aim is to make participants aware of their rights as human beings. Providing the history of how rights have come about and educating Jamaican youth about the 20 fundamental rights. Youth are involved in interactive workshops as a method of learning. In addition, train the trainer sessions are lead to empower youth leaders to become advocates in their home school.

 

To train 40 youth leaders within highschools as well as reaching 2,000 students through workshops and sensitizing 20,000 through general assembly.

32 youth leaders in Clarendon and 24 in Prebrook Hall school. 1,200 have been reached out of 2,000 so far.
